Sponsoring Agency: OPOA & Oregon Lottery Overview: This training program focuses on how to structure and conduct a non-accusatory, non-confrontational investigative interview, and how to assess the credibility of the information that was developed during the interview. This approach is applicable in any investigation in which the investigator seeks the truth from the subject, including credit card fraud, fraudulent insurance claims, employee misconduct such as falsifying expenses, falsifying time and attendance, violating rules or regulations pertaining to their job, harassing other employees, stealing from the company, or any other issue that comes into question. Instructor: Sergio G. Parisi, CRT Curriculum Vitae, John E. Reid and Associates, Inc. Bio: Sergio Parisi was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina and a 1981 graduate of Western Illinois University. In 1984 he graduated from John E. Reid & Associates as a polygraphist and obtained a diploma on Detection of Deception as well as REID TECHNIQUE® Certification (CRT). During 1984-1999 Sergio worked for 2 Fortune 500 companies as a Regional/District investigator, returning to Reid in 2000. He has also worked in contracted law enforcement investigations as the first non-US-born polygraph examiner in the state of Illinois from Latin America. He has conducted international REID® courses throughout the world with over 80 trips to Latin America, 70 to Mexico alone since 2007. Sergio has conducted over 9,000 interviews.
