Brief Overview:
The elderly population is set to almost double in the next 30 years. With this, comes the risk of increased victimization of the elderly. This training will discuss why elder abuse investigations are so important, what's civil and what's not, and things to consider when interviewing the elderly. Learn how to locate financial records and analyze them to support your investigation. Legal updates specific to elder abuse, the importance of initial documentation, hearsay information as well as case reviews will be discussed to support all information presented.
